To celebrate Ou victory against IOWA state, my
friend brought a bottle of champagne, and as Wine student, I grabbed a pencil
and piece of paper and started taking notes. The wine was sweet with medium
peach flavor. The champagne has about 10% alcohol and it is really cheap. It was
medium to very dry, simple but capable to get the job done.
Swirl and Sniff. I didn’t wanna look snob or foolish
doing it for 2 reasons. 1 it only work with red wine, 2 I drank straight from the bottle and from a
plastic party cups.
Balance. Sugar, alcohol, acid, and tannis are
all in balance. The balance was there, nothing really to complain about it. I
paired it with fried spicy sausage and green olives.
It was bottle storaged, with a natural cork. Tools were not necessary during the opening processes, and we finished the bottle 750mL.
